Vision Rescue is an Indian charitable project founded by Biju Thampy. In 2004, Biju along with a small team started feeding a group of children on Mahim station, Mumbai.
Today, a much larger team reach over 800 children per day in 16 different slum areas using school buses. These buses are converted into mobile classrooms for the children teaching lesson in Hindi, maths and English, all followed by a hot meal for each child. This meal is often the only food these children will eat in a day and stops them begging on the streets for money.
